I’m still trying to figure out spring here. It is June and it is beautiful but produce is a bit later here. I haven’t had peas or favas yet, but I’m going tomorrow to check the U of S horticulture asparagus patch to see if it is ready. I’ve already been loving rhubarb and dandelion greens. I’ve also been cutting huge bunches of lilacs and putting them all over my house. I’m reading a book right now called “The Teachings of Don Juan” It is about a guy who learned about peyote from a Yaqui medicine man in the 60’s and it is good so far. I have a friend that is a bluebird that I saw when I was out for a walk to forage rhubarb and flowers. The next day he came to my house and the day after that he left me one of his feathers, it is a beautiful feather.
It’s the Bluebird of Happiness!!!!! I’ve heard about him : )
I love these pictures – it reminds me of you and your house.
