The Horticulture Club

Food — By Crust on March 2, 2011

Greenhouses do really well in Saskatchewan. There is tons of sun even in the middle of winter. I just joined the horticulture club at the U of S and it is just what I needed to get me through the rest of the winter. I picked some greens and herbs and had my first satisfying salad in a long time. The people there are so nice and it’s good to make contacts with the young growers. I love being in the greenhouse, the smell is so good.

    Dearest Christy,
You would be surprised just how many of us are interested, care for you a lot, and am totally amazed at what a super, creative, talented, intelligent, beautiful, kind and loveable woman you are!!! Please read up on deficiencies of Vitamin D (even tho’ there is lots of sunshine in Sask) because fair-haired, blue-eyed gals often cannot assimilate Vitamin D from the sun, food etc….or at least as much as they need……causing low grade depression (SAD). University too? wow!! Go girl, you are just the answer to what the world is looking forward to with the next generation!!!
We miss you in Vancouver!! Spring is not far off!!!
    Love you,
    V
