Squid Ink

One of my favorite black foods. It is a little bit sweet, a little bit fishy. After we cryovaced it we walked around the kitchen asking people what they see in the ink blot, and then told them they were crazy.. Squid ink is a really cool ingredient, under utilized as far as I’m concerned. I’m excited about it.

    What do you use the squid ink for? Does it stain? or turn your teeth black? I am from Saskatchewan remember?

    That post was a little vague, it is mostly mixed with pasta dough and in that form does not stain. I have so many ideas for it that I want to test and once I test them I will be able to tell you more.
